Terms & Conditions of Service

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, online reservation system, and dining services of The Buffet Club Singapore Pte. Ltd. (UEN: 202523820N), registered at 86 East Coast Rd, #02-01, Singapore 428788. By using our site or placing a reservation, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1) Reservations, booking platform, sessions & pricing
1. Online-only pricing. Prices displayed on our website apply only to online bookings. Walk-in customers pay standard (non-discounted) rates. We may change prices or menus at any time without prior notice.
2. Booking platform. We use SevenRooms to manage reservations and guest booking features (website: https://sevenrooms.com/). SevenRooms is operated by SEVENROOMS PTE. LTD. (UEN: 202319194W). Your use of SevenRooms-powered booking features may also be subject to SevenRooms’ terms and privacy policy, in addition to these Terms.
3. Payment methods. Payment may be collected via credit/debit card or PayNow (as made available). We do not store your full card details on our systems; card processing is handled by our third-party booking/payment providers.
4. Pre-payment / deposit. We may require full pre-payment or a deposit to secure a booking, depending on the booking type, date, and capacity constraints.
For reservations of 8 pax and above (or as otherwise stated by us), the following deposit terms apply:
• A 30% deposit of the estimated bill is required to secure the booking for 8 pax and above and will be rounded down to the nearest whole number.
• The remaining balance must be paid on the event date.
• The deposit is non-refundable for cancellations made within 72 hours of the reservation time, or for failure to attend (no-show).
• Customers who reschedule will receive store credit equal to the deposit, valid for future bookings (unless otherwise stated). Store credit is not redeemable for cash and may be subject to blackout dates and availability.
• By paying the deposit, the customer acknowledges and fully accepts all terms and conditions stated here.
5. Estimated bill. The “estimated bill” is an estimate only, based on the information available at the time of booking (e.g., number of guests, prevailing menu prices, and any stated minimum spend or add-ons). Your final bill may be higher or lower. The deposit will be applied toward the final bill on the event date; any excess (if any) is handled in accordance with our non-refund policy, except where required by Singapore law.
6. Sessions. Lunch and dinner sessions are as advertised on the site (subject to operational adjustments). Seatings start and end at the stated times; late arrival may reduce your dining time.
7. Children & seniors. Unless stated otherwise on the site, Child pricing applies to ages 11 and under (proof of age may be required). (We may update age bands or entitlements on the site from time to time.)
2) Changes, cancellations & no-shows
1. General. All payments (including deposits) are final and non-refundable except where required by Singapore law.
2. Deposit cancellations (8 pax and above). The deposit is non-refundable for cancellations made within 72 hours of the reservation time or for failure to attend. If a booking is cancelled outside the 72-hour window, any refund (if offered) may be subject to administrative and payment processing fees, and is at our discretion unless Singapore law requires otherwise.
3. Rescheduling. As a courtesy and subject to availability and operational constraints, we may allow a one-time reschedule if you notify us at least 48 hours before your session. Reschedules are not guaranteed and may be refused during peak periods or promotions. For 8 pax and above deposits, rescheduling will generally be issued as store credit equal to the deposit, which can be applied to a future booking. Additional top-ups may be required if the new booking has a higher estimated bill.
4. No-shows / late arrival. Failure to arrive for your booked session, or arriving more than 15 minutes late without notice, may be treated as a no-show and your booking may be released; payments (including deposits) are forfeited.
5. Operational changes / force majeure. We may cancel, curtail, or amend any reservation due to events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., government directives, utility failures, acts of God). Our sole obligation will be to refund the affected reservation or offer an alternative session, at our discretion.
6. Chargebacks / payment disputes. If a payment is reversed or charged back, we may cancel the reservation immediately and/or require an alternative payment method. You agree to reimburse us for any losses, fees, or costs we incur due to chargebacks or disputed payments to the extent permitted by law.
3) Buffet rules & conduct
1. Food safety & allergens. While we take care in preparation, our buffet may contain common allergens. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment (risk of cross-contact exists). Please inform our staff of any allergies; dining remains at your own risk.
2. Fair use. Buffet dining is dine-in only. No takeaway of leftover buffet items unless expressly permitted. We may charge for excessive wastage.
3. House rules. We reserve the right to refuse service or remove any guest for unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate conduct, without refund.
4) Promotions & pricing display
Promotions, discounts, and price displays on the website apply as described and may be withdrawn or changed at any time. Errors and omissions are excluded. Online prices may differ from in-venue prices.
5) Intellectual property
All website content, menus, photographs, graphics, logos, and trademarks are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use them except as permitted by law or with our prior written consent.
6) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all representations, warranties, and conditions (express or implied) relating to the website and services. We will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, special, exemplary, or punitive loss, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the total amount paid for the affected reservation.
7) Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless TBC, its directors, employees, and agents against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, violation of law, or misuse of our services.
8) Third-party services
Reservations, guest management, and certain payment and reservation features are provided by third parties, including SevenRooms and payment processors. Your use of those services may be subject to their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party acts or omissions, outages, data loss, or delays caused by third-party systems, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9) Personal data
Our Privacy Policy (incorporated by reference) explains how we handle personal data under the PDPA.
For reservations made via SevenRooms, we may collect and process the following personal data for reservation administration and guest management:
• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Birth date
• For bookings involving 8 pax and above (or where a deposit is required), credit/debit card details processed via our third-party providers, or PayNow details as applicable.
You acknowledge that SevenRooms and our payment providers may process your personal data (including payment data where applicable) on our behalf to provide the booking and payment functionality. Where third parties store or process data outside Singapore, they may do so subject to their own safeguards and policies.
10) Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
11) Changes to Terms
We may amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms take effect upon posting on our website with a revised “Last updated” date.
